Siberia Airlines (S7 Airlines) intends to open flights from Moscow to Geneva in winter. They will be operated from December 17, four times a week on a staggered schedule, reports our own correspondent Travel.ru.
It is not entirely clear whether the flights will continue into the summer. At the moment, they are only scheduled for the ski season – from December 17 to March 28.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, departure from Moscow (Domodedovo Airport) at 11:15, arrival in Geneva at 13:10. Return departure at 14:00, arrival in Moscow at 19:55. On Saturdays, departure from Moscow at 5:40, from Geneva at 8:25, on Sundays, departure from Moscow at 17:10, from Geneva at 19:55. The Boeing 737 aircraft will be used on the route.
The minimum price for a roundtrip ticket is currently 17,184 rubles without baggage and seat selection, and 22,189 rubles with baggage and seat selection. One-way fares start at 10,014 and 12,519 rubles, respectively.
"Sibir" is one of the few companies that provide free transportation of ski equipment at any rate, including baggage-free. The limit for transportation of ski equipment is 23 kilograms, it is allowed to carry one pair of alpine skis with ski poles or a snowboard with additional equipment (boots, helmet, glasses).
