Aeroflot Airlines is considering the possibility of starting flights from Moscow to Orsk in the summer. They are tentatively planned to operate daily from June 2 on a Superjet 100 aircraft, Travel.ru's own correspondent reports.
Departure from Moscow (Sheremetyevo airport) at 2.10, arrival in Orsk at 6.40. Return departure at 8:00, arrival in Moscow at 8:40. The route will be served by a Superjet 100 aircraft.
The minimum one-way fare currently available is 5,514 rubles without checked baggage and 7,614 rubles with baggage. Round-trip fares start at 9,028 and 12,028 rubles, respectively.
It should be borne in mind that due to the coronavirus epidemic and the unpredictability of the air travel situation in Russia and the world, there is a significant probability that plans to launch this (and any other announced) route may be postponed or cancelled.
A significant share of Aeroflot passengers from the regions are usually those who transfer to Sheremetyevo for the company's international flights - but the likelihood of a significant number of international routes being restored by the beginning of summer is already quite low. Transfer to domestic routes is also in question: only a little more than 10% of the usual number of flights are currently being carried out within Russia, and the prospects for restoring normal volumes in complete fog - this will definitely not happen this summer.
