Italy's second-largest airline, Air Italy, has announced it is ceasing operations due to difficult market conditions. The announcement was published on the carrier's website.
According to the airline, all regular flights departing before February 25 will be carried out without any changes. At the same time, those who still want to return the ticket will have their money returned in full. In turn, after February 25, clients of the bankrupt airline will be able to choose an alternative flight option on the wings of other carriers or return the full cost of the ticket.
Air Italy is a subsidiary of AQA Holding, owned by Alisarda and Qatar Airways. The carrier operates both domestic and international routes.
