The Moscow Interregional Transport Prosecutor's Office (MITP) has organized an investigation into the landing of an IrAero airliner on an unfinished runway at Domodedovo Airport.
"Moscow Interregional Transport The prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the incident at Domodedovo Airport," the agency said in a statement.
In addition, it is noted that the causes and circumstances of the incident are being established; if there are grounds, prosecutorial response measures will be taken.
"The investigation is being monitored by the interregional transport prosecutor's office. In addition, information about this incident has been sent to the Irkutsk transport prosecutor supervising the airline's activities," the prosecutor's office press service added.
Let us recall that on January 16, 2020, an IrAero plane flying from Sabbeta to Moscow (Domodedovo) landed on an unfinished runway. According to preliminary data, none of the passengers were injured.
