PONY EXPRESS, the largest visa service provider in Russia and the CIS, announced a new procedure for servicing clients of tour operators when applying for visas to Latvia from September 1, 2017.
A meeting of representatives took place at the PONY EXPRESS Moscow visa center Russian tour operators with employees of the consular department of the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia in Moscow. The reason for the meeting was information distributed by the Embassy of Latvia about changes in the procedure for accepting visa applications from clients of Russian tour operators from September 1, 2017.
During the meeting, it was explained that from September 1, the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia in the Russian Federation will no longer accept visa applicants by prior appointment with travel agencies. To ensure their maximum comfort, the company has assigned a manager to coordinate interaction with tour operators, and additional windows have been opened for accepting documents and collecting biometric data. Documents can be submitted at any of 82 PONY EXPRESS visa offices in the Russian Federation.
A visa application to PONY EXPRESS for a tourist who does not need to submit biometrics can be submitted by a tour operator. Applications are accepted from all tour operators registered in the unified federal register as providers of international tourism services.
