Finnish Customs launches Russian version of website for tourists

For Russian tourists, Finnish customs has launched a Russian-language version of the website. On the portal, travelers can get information about import restrictions and rules that exist in the country.

"If you are going on a trip, we recommend that you read our advice on these pages. Import restrictions and regulations in the destination country can be found out, for example, from the authorities. Finnish Customs does not provide information on regulations in force in other countries. Read our instructions on imports by individuals and import restrictions before you arrive in Finland. If you cannot find the answers on this website or you are unsure, please contact the Finnish Customs Customer Service," the portal page says.

All information on the site is divided into blocks for convenience: for tourists, moving to Finland, customs clearance, etc.

In addition, on the portal, tourists can familiarize themselves with restrictions on the import of tobacco products, alcoholic beverages, medicines, animals, import of vehicles, etc.
