Prison hotel opens in Germany

A new hotel will open in the city of Offenburg in southwestern Germany, not far from the French border, on October 2. The hotel, called Hotel Liberty, is located in an old building of a former prison, reports our own correspondent Travel.ru.

The hotel will offer guests 38 rooms that do not resemble gloomy prison cells. Guests will be offered a restaurant with the telling name Wasser&Brot (“Bread and Water”), which offers exquisite French cuisine, a tapas-serving establishment Mezzanine Floor & Lounge, and a wine bar La Cave. The hotel also has a cozy library and a rooftop terrace.

The cost of accommodation in the new hotel is from 138 euros per double room per night. In honor of the opening, Hotel Liberty offers discounts.
