On November 23-24, 2017, the International Tourism Forum SIFT will be held in Sochi, which has become one of the most important business platforms for domestic and inbound tourism in Russia. The venue will traditionally be the Main Media Center, Imeretinskaya Lowland.
Organizers Forum — Federal Agency for Tourism, Administration of Krasnodar Region, Administration of the city of Sochi. The forum is held with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Russian Union of Travel Industry, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, Administration of Krasnodar Region, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Krasnodar Region, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sochi, the Ministry of Resorts, Tourism and Olympic Heritage of Krasnodar Region.
The Forum will include the XXIV International Tourism Exhibition "Resorts and Tourism. Season 2017-2018", the XVIII International Specialized Exhibition "Hotel and Restaurant Business-2017", the Congress "Key Strategic Directions of Development, Technologies and Service in Domestic and Inbound Tourism", as well as familiarization and educational tours of the resort and business facilities of Sochi.
The forum will become an effective discussion platform for professionals in the tourism industry and the HoReCa segment and will bring together leading hospitality industry enterprises from various regions of Russia, as well as medical and diagnostic centers, transport, insurance, service companies, tour operators and travel agents.
The business program will include discussion and business meetings, educational seminars, presentations, personal meetings with representatives of the Administration. Within the framework of the forum, participants will sum up the results of the resort season 2017, discuss issues of development of gastronomic tourism, changes in legislation in the sphere of regulation of hotel operations, new approaches in the practice of spa treatment, service in the sphere of hospitality. Also, issues of attracting tourists during the 2018 FIFA World Cup, the mechanism for collecting resort fees and development of resorts in the Krasnodar Territory, as well as training personnel for the tourism industry, features of working with an online cash register and much more will be considered.
