Aeroflot to fly to both Beijing airports

Aeroflot Airlines intends to increase the number of flights from Moscow to Beijing from the summer. From June 3, it intends to service this route four times a day instead of the current three. The fourth flight will be to the new Beijing Daxing Airport. In addition, new planes will appear on other flights to Beijing, reports Travel.ru's own correspondent.

The new flight departs from Moscow daily from June 3, except Tuesday, at 0:55, arriving in Beijing (Daxing) at 13:05. Return departure at 14:45, arriving in Moscow at 17:25. The Boeing 777-300 aircraft will be used on the route.

Daxing Airport opened a few months ago, is located about 45 kilometers south of central Beijing and is connected to it by express subway and railway lines. Earlier, S7 Airlines decided to transfer flights to Daxing.

Aeroflot's other three flights are still scheduled to Beijing's old main airport, Capital Airport. Departures from Moscow are at 12:30, 16:20 and 21:20, arriving in Beijing at 1:00, 4:15 and 9:50 respectively. Return departures are at 2:45, 5:45 and 11:40, arriving in Moscow at 5:35, 8:30 and 14:35. The first of these flights will remain on the Boeing 777-300, but the second and third will soon be transferred to the most modern aircraft in Aeroflot's fleet - the Airbus A350. The transfer will take place on May 1 and June 1 for the second and third flights, respectively.
