Aeroflot has started selling tickets for its own Moscow-Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk flight, which is being resumed. For now, it is being sold at the company's usual fixed Far Eastern rates, Travel.ru's own correspondent reports.
The new flight will appear on the schedule from October 27. Departure from Moscow (Sheremetyevo Airport) at 21:00, arrival in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk at 13:25. Return departure at 15:45, arrival in Moscow at 16:55. The flight will be operated by an Airbus A330. Fixed fares are currently in effect – 15,000 rubles one way and 25,000 round trip – although Aeroflot has announced the possibility of returning to normal free pricing on this flight. Business class fares start at an astronomical 133,951 rubles one way and 191,602 rubles round trip.
The flight of the subsidiary company Rossiya, using the historical schedule of Aeroflot, remains with the previous schedule: departure from Moscow (Sheremetyevo Airport) at 16.25, arrival in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk at 8.45. Return departure at 11.45, arrival in Moscow at 12.35. Boeing 777 is used, fixed prices for economy class are 13,200 rubles one way and 22,000 round trip. In business class, prices start from 88,451 rubles one way and 126,502 round trip.
Tickets for both flights, as well as for all other Aeroflot Group routes from Moscow to the Far East, are currently only available until December 30-31. The lack of sales for next year is due to the fact that Aeroflot has not yet decided whether it will continue to use fixed fares, or what their level will be if they are established.
