Azimuth will fly from Saratov to Rostov-on-Don and Nizhny Novgorod

Azimuth Airlines intends to soon begin flights from Saratov to Rostov-on-Don and Nizhny Novgorod. Flights will be operated from September 22 twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, reports our own correspondent Travel.ru.

Departure from Rostov at 13.35, landing in Saratov from 16.00 to 16.00.50, arrival in Nizhny Novgorod at 17:00. Return departure at 17:50, landing in Saratov from 20:00 to 20:50, arrival in Rostov at 21:05. The Superjet 100 aircraft will be used on the route. Earlier, the company opened flights to Saratov from Krasnodar.

The minimum price for a ticket with baggage included is now 1980 rubles. Tariffs without baggage included now start from 888 rubles for the first two weeks of flights, and from 1380 rubles thereafter.

Hand luggage is limited to 5 kilograms in all cases (you can buy another 5 kilograms for 399 rubles). However, all passengers may carry, in addition to hand luggage, a briefcase or handbag, outerwear, a suit in a garment bag, a bouquet of flowers and items necessary for medical reasons.

Meals on Azimuth flights are paid and only by prior order (only soft drinks are free). Ordering may not be available during the epidemic. Online check-in is only available for those who wish to pay from 250 rubles for choosing a seat.

When buying on the website of the airline “Azimut”, in most cases the ticket by default includes increased hand luggage (399 rubles), paid insurance (290 rubles) and some strange online consultation service “Doctor on the Road” (another 300 urbles). This practice of selling services not requested by the client, which is prohibited in the European Union and a number of other countries, is still widespread in Russia, where the authorities continue to turn a blind eye to it. To refuse unnecessary services, you should click on the “Refuse” button on the additional services selection page.

Passengers and tourists planning to travel anywhere in the coming months should carefully consider the necessity and possibility of travel. In some countries and individual regions of Russia, quarantines may be in effect for tourists entering these countries, making travel a sham. Before any trip, you should double-check the rules in effect at your destination – they can change at any time without any prior notice. In addition to quarantines, rules in various countries and regions may now include requirements for wearing masks, having local passes, negative coronavirus tests, etc. Finally, the risk of contracting the virus increases significantly while traveling.
