Russian Railways have introduced fixed prices for tickets on the Sapsan trains on the Moscow-St. Petersburg line for December 31 and January 1. They are quite affordable, reports our own correspondent Travel.ru.
All tickets in regular economy class are sold for 1,506 rubles, in “economy+” – for 1,847 rubles, in the bistro car for 3,506 rubles, in business class – 3,981 rubles, and in first class for 9,861 rubles. So far, tickets are available for all trains.
It is worth keeping in mind that the last flights on December 31 with departure at 21:00 have been cancelled in both directions. According to the schedule, they arrive after midnight, and Russian Railways, obviously, does not expect an influx of people wishing to celebrate the New Year on the Sapsan. However, the previous flights remain on schedule, and if you wish, you can arrive in Moscow at 23:13 on New Year's Eve, and in St. Petersburg - at 23:44. The schedule for January 1 is normal - departures will begin at 5:30.
