A single ski pass will be introduced at all Sochi mountain resorts

More than 177 km of trails - for the first time in Russia, skiers and snowboarders are offered such a large ski area with one ticket. In the new 19/20 season in Sochi, a single ski pass will be available at all mountain resorts - Rosa Khutor, Gazprom Mountain Tourist Center and Kurort Krasnaya Polyana.

A trial run of a single ski pass in the Sochi mountains took place last season, when the lifts at the Rosa Khutor resort and the Gazprom mountain tourist center (Laura and Alpika) could be used with special tickets. This year, a single ski pass for the first time unites the infrastructure of all Sochi mountain resorts. This means that cable cars and trails at the Rosa Khutor resort, the Gazprom mountain tourist center and the Krasnaya Polyana resort will be available to tourists, and they will also have the opportunity to use the infrastructure of each of the three resorts - equipment rentals, instructor schools, restaurants, cafes, additional services.

"Questions and suggestions on the introduction of a single ski pass were received from tourists even before the project was launched. And the first year of work confirmed that there really is demand. Therefore, all resorts intend to develop the program for the convenience and comfort of tourists in the future," the resorts' press service said.

By combining the trails, Sochi is reaching the level of leading European ski resorts, offering guests various skiing options: both a single ski pass and a ski pass that allows skiing at one of the selected resorts are available. A ski bus will run between the lower stations of the three resorts’ cable cars — a free bus for holders of a valid single ski pass.

Sales are scheduled to start in December. Tourists will be able to use the single ski pass from the official opening date of the season at all three resorts. The general ski area at Rosa Khutor, Gazprom Mountain Tourist Center and Krasnaya Polyana Resort will be available after December 20.

A single ski pass will provide the opportunity to ski on the slopes of all mountain resorts in Sochi. Thus, the total ski area will be more than 177 km. At the Rosa Khutor resort, the length of the ski slopes is 102 km, in the Gazprom mountain tourist center (Laura and Alpika) - more than 45 km, at the Krasnaya Polyana resort - 30 km.

Tourists are offered a choice of several tariffs, differing in the duration of the ticket. Seasonal ski pass applies to both daytime and evening skiing - from the start of the official season at three resorts until the announcement of its end at one of them (approximately at the end of April). Day ski pass valid for one day and only for daytime skiing from 8.30 to 16.00. There is also season tickets — for several days (from two to eight), for daytime skiing from 8.30 to 16.00. “Those planning to spend an active vacation in the mountains of Sochi should consider purchasing a pass for several days. The more days in the tariff, the lower the cost of a day of skiing under this pass,” the press service explained.

The cost of single tickets and passes will vary and depend on the season: "High" (until 27.12.2019 and from 08.01.2020 to 05.04.2020), "Peak" (from 28.12.2019 to 07.01.2020), "Spring Snow" (from 06.04.2020). A single ski pass can be purchased at the ticket offices of all three resorts.
