Visa centers' working hours will change during the New Year holidays

During the New Year and Christmas holidays, visa centers of European countries located in Moscow and regions of Russia change their working hours.

As reported by the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, in particular, Austrian visa centers in Moscow and the regions will be closed on December 25 and 26. In addition, documents submitted after December 14 will only be available from January 9, 2019.

The Belgian Visa Application Centre in Moscow will be closed only on December 25, and no documents will be accepted from January 1 to January 8. On January 3, 4 and 8, ready visas will be available at the Belgian Visa Application Centre. From January 9, the visa application centre will resume normal operation.

The last date for accepting documents for a visa to Bulgaria this year is December 21. Bulgarian visa centers will be closed from December 24 to 26, and will close again on December 29 until the beginning of next year.

UK visa application centres also celebrate Christmas on 25 and 26 December, and are closed from 30 December to 8 January.

The German Data Centers in Moscow and the regions will be closed on December 24-26, December 29 and 31, and from January 1 to January 8 inclusive.

Greek visa centers across Russia are closed on January 25 and 26. Danish visa centers are closed on December 25-28. Icelandic visa centers are also closed in honor of the holidays on January 24-26 and December 31.

Spain's visa application centres are closed on December 24-25, December 31 and from January 1 to 8, with the exception of the visa application centres in Moscow and St. Petersburg - there, January 1 and 7 will be the only days off in the coming year. The visa application centres in Cyprus have adopted the same schedule of days off.

Exhibition centres in Italy are closed on December 25 and 26 and January 1.

Latvian visa application centres are closed from 30 December to 8 January, and Lithuanian visa application centres are closed from 24 to 26 December.

According to ATOR, Malta visa centers will not work on December 25, and the Netherlands visa centers will not work on December 25-26 and 31.

The Norwegian Visa Application Centre will not accept documents on December 24-26, December 29 and 31, and January 1-8. The Polish Visa Application Centre in Moscow will also be closed on these days.

Visa Application Centres in Portugal and Romania will be closed on 25 and 26 December, and the Slovakian Visa Application Centre will be closed from 24 to 26 December. Slovenian Visa Application Centres will be closed for accepting and issuing documents on 24, 25, 26, 29 and 31 December 2018, and from 1 to 8 January 2019 inclusive.

Finland's visa application centres in Russia will be closed from December 31 to January 8. However, in St. Petersburg, the Finnish visa application centre has fewer days off: it will be closed from December 31 to January 2 inclusive, as well as January 7. On the remaining days of the first week of the new year, the Finnish visa application centre in St. Petersburg will operate as usual.

French visa centers have declared December 25, January 1 and 7 as holidays. Croatian visa centers are closed on December 25 and 26.

Czech visa centres are closed from 24 to 26 December and on the last day of the year.

The Swiss Visa Application Centre is closed on 25 and 29 December, however the Embassy in Moscow is closed for applications from 1 to 8 January.

All visa centres in Sweden and Estonia will be closed for accepting and issuing documents on 24-26, 29, 31 December, and from 1 to 8 January inclusive.
