A special "Mountain Patrol" has started working at the Gorki Gorod resort. This is the first time such a service has been created, the main function of the patrol is to monitor compliance with the resort rules and international rules of conduct on the FIS slope, the resort's press service reports.
According to Gennady Didenko, Head of Operational Services Department of the Gorki Gorod resort, The main function of the Mountain Patrol is to ensure that guests comply with the resort rules.
"We are talking not only about tourist zones - cable car zones, boarding and disembarking, but also about ski slopes. The patrol started working a few days ago - now 6 people constantly patrol all the tracks and slopes. They also have a task - to block the work of "black" instructors. There are already the first comments - a database of "black" instructors has been compiled, work is underway to prevent them from appearing at our resort. The "Mountain Patrol" employees also work with guests. It is no secret that there are violations along the skiing perimeters, namely - people go beyond the restrictive nets on the tracks and penetrate into prohibited areas. "Mountain Patrol" helps to identify such violators. For now, we are getting by with a simple warning, but in the future, we are planning more serious measures - up to and including termination of services and blocking ski passes. "Mountain Patrol" has been created as a separate unit for the first time, and we have ideas on where to grow. The patrol will operate until the end of the season,” said Gennady Didenko.
