Skiing on the Alpika slope will be open until May 6

For the first time, the Gazprom resort is ending its ski season in May. The Alpika slope, which will open its ski slopes again from April 29 to May 6, helped set a "personal" record.

“The weather in the mountains of Sochi has allowed the ski season to be extended, so the upcoming "Tourists will be able to go skiing on weekends," the resort's press service commented. "In the spring, it is especially pleasant not only to ski in the mountains, but also to sunbathe, so we recommend that you do not forget about sunscreen."

The Gazprom Mountain Tourist Center opened the Alpika slope in December 2017 after a global reconstruction of the legendary resort. During the ski season, 5 trails were available for experienced riders: three red and two black trails, with a total length of over 7.5 km, with an altitude difference of up to 1,156 meters.

You can ski on the Alpika slopes from April 29 to May 6. But the slope will be open for excursions until May 9 (inclusive). Observation platforms are located at altitudes of 1,500 and 2,256 meters. In clear weather, even the Black Sea can be seen from the Priyut Vetrov.

From May 10 to June 9, scheduled maintenance will be carried out on the cable cars of the Alpika slope. You can buy a walking ticket to admire the panoramic views of the Caucasus Mountains and Krasnaya Polyana until May 9 or from June 10.
