Pobeda Airlines, which calls itself a "low-budget" airline, intends to stop flights from Moscow to Helsinki. The final flight is scheduled for January 31, Travel.ru's own correspondent reports.
Sales for all subsequent dates are closed. It is not known whether Pobeda plans to return to the route, which the company opened just over three months ago.
Four years ago, something similar happened with S7 Airlines flights on the same route. The company lasted on the Helsinki route for just over six months and then closed the flights. However, the main carriers on this route – Aeroflot and Finnair – are only increasing their capacity: Aeroflot already flies three times a day, and Finnair will fly four times a day from mid-spring.
