The airline "RusLine" intends to resume flights from St. Petersburg to Nizhny Novgorod in a week. Flights will be operated from July 31 on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, reports our own correspondent Travel.ru.
Departure from Saint Petersburg at 16:40, arrival in Nizhny Novgorod at 18:30. Return departure at 19.15, arrival in St. Petersburg at 21.05. The Canadair Regional Jet CRJ-200 aircraft will be used on the route.
The minimum ticket price (available mainly on Tuesdays) is 4,785 rubles. It includes only 5 kilograms of miniature hand luggage with dimensions no larger than 40x30x20 centimeters. The 5,285 ruble option also includes 20 kilograms of checked baggage. On other days, the minimum price for each option is usually 500 rubles higher.
In addition, it is allowed to additionally carry a handbag, briefcase or backpack free of charge. At the same time, RusLine tries not to advertise this information to passengers, omitting it in the booking system on its website. In addition, in violation of the Federal Aviation Rules (FAP-82), the RusLine website states that a briefcase or handbag “must not exceed the dimensions of 40x30x20 cm, weight – no more than 5 kg”. In reality, FAP prohibits airlines from limiting the sizes of these items. Passengers wishing to carry large briefcases or handbags should arm themselves with a printout of FAP-82 in case the airline tries to illegally refuse to carry these items free of charge.
You can buy another 10 kilograms of hand luggage for 1,500 rubles (but almost all passengers will find it easier to use a briefcase or buy a baggage tariff right away). Choosing a seat on the plane costs from 350 rubles. The St. Petersburg – Nizhny Novgorod route is also served by Iraero, which has three flights a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
