The airline "RusLine" has deprived passengers flying at the minimum "Light" tariff of the right to carry 10 kilograms of checked baggage. At the same time, the carrier has reduced the amount of the next tariff "Classic", which allows carrying 23 kilograms of baggage. reports our own correspondent Travel.ru.
Previously, the typical difference between these two fares was 4-5 thousand rubles one way. Now it is reduced, as a rule, to only 1000 rubles for a direct domestic flight one way and 2000 rubles for a transfer. Thus, it is now more profitable to immediately determine whether you need luggage and choose the appropriate fare, rather than adding luggage later.
It is worth keeping in mind that both of these tariffs do not allow you to return a ticket (on the “Classic” you can only exchange a ticket with an additional fee, on the “Light” there is no such option). Passengers who are interested in the possibility of returning a ticket can consider the next tariff “Optimum”. It is 2,000 rubles more expensive on a direct flight and 4,000 rubles more expensive on a transfer flight and allows you to return or exchange a ticket with a fee.
For example, the minimum price found for June on the Moscow-Belgorod route is now 4,385 rubles one way for the baggage-free “Light” tariff, 5,385 for the baggage-free “Classic” tariff, and 7,385 for the “Optimum” tariff. On the Ulyanovsk-Moscow-Belgorod transfer route, the price of “Light” was 8,965 rubles, “Classic” – 10,965, “Optimum” – 14,965 rubles.
Passengers with a ticket at the “Light” fare have the right to carry only 10 kilograms of hand luggage (maximum dimensions are 55x40x20 centimeters), as well as items from the free list of federal aviation rules (FAR). This includes a briefcase or handbag, outerwear, a bouquet of flowers, baby food and items necessary for medical reasons.
The new tariff system, which was introduced in early June, made RusLine's tariffs similar to those used by most other Russian carriers. Thus, the company's tariff policy has become more understandable and convenient for passengers. It is possible that RusLine was prompted to make this decision by its partnership with Utair, which began several months ago. The companies now sell tickets for a number of each other's routes, and it was logical to make RusLine's tariff system similar to that used by Utair.
