Saratov Airlines announced the suspension of operations from May 31.
“On May 17, 2018, JSC Saratov Airlines received a letter from the head of the transport regulation department of the Federal Air Transport Agency, A. A. Kruglov, about the suspension of sales airline tickets from May 30 of this year. The airline regards this document as the introduction of restrictions on the operator's certificate from May 31.
In connection with this, the management of JSC Saratov Airlines has decided to suspend the company's operations from May 31, 2018 and to force the dismissal of employees from July 18, 2018," the carrier's website says.
A total of 1,200 airline employees will be laid off.
