The airlines Siberia (S7 Airlines) and Aeroflot intend to increase the number of flights from Moscow to Chelyabinsk with the start of the winter schedule. Siberia is going to make three daily flights instead of the current two, Aeroflot – six instead of five, reports our own correspondent. Travel.ru.
Siberia will add a morning departure from Moscow and an afternoon one from Chelyabinsk. From October 28, departures from Moscow (Domodedovo Airport) will be at 0:10, 10:15 and 14:30, arriving in Chelyabinsk at 4:45, 14:50 and 19:05, respectively. Return departures will be at 7:05, 15:40 and 19:55, arriving in Moscow at 7:40, 16:15 and 20:30. The night flight will be operated by Airbus A320, the rest by Airbus A319.
Aeroflot will add a daytime flight from Moscow and an evening flight from Chelyabinsk. From October 28, flights from Moscow (Sheremetyevo Airport) will be at 0:35, 7:30, 14:20, 15:55, 17:20 and 22:30, arriving in Chelyabinsk at 5:05, 12:00, 18:40, 20:25, 21:55 and 3:05 respectively. Return flights will be at 5:55, 8:15, 12:50, 19:30, 21:15 and 22:45, arriving in Moscow at 6:35, 8:45, 13:20, 20:10, 21:55 and 23:25.
At the same time, the average capacity of Aeroflot aircraft will become smaller. If a year ago almost all flights were carried out by Airbus A320 aircraft, and one by the even more capacious Airbus A321, now half of the flights are given to the smallest aircraft in the company's fleet - the Superjet 100. The remaining three flights will be carried out by Airbus A320.
