On April 6, tour operator TEZ TOUR gathered sales leaders from authorized agencies to talk about programs for the summer season at the S7 Airlines training center, the tour operator's press service reported.
The event turned out to be unique. It's not every day that you get a chance try yourself in the role of real pilots and flight attendants, learn first-hand information about the flight program to Spain, Turkey, Italy, Georgia and Cyprus, as well as all the nuances of sales of hotels of the international Iberostar chain in TEZ TOUR destinations.
On the day of the event, leading managers and directors from authorized TEZ TOUR agencies were already on their feet at 8 a.m. Instead of offices, they were awaited by S7 Airlines training in a modern complex for training flight crews.
The first part of the event included emergency rescue training. The agents worked through real emergency situations: they put out a fire in the cabin of an airplane, tested emergency rescue equipment, rehearsed evacuation from an aircraft via an inflatable slide, and tried on oxygen masks.
It turns out that the air in the masks should last for 20 minutes. This time is quite enough for the plane to descend to a comfortable altitude of 3,000 meters, when passengers can breathe on their own. However, only 30% passengers have time to use the masks when the cabin depressurizes. And they cannot be placed in a special compartment on their own. This can cause a fire.
Familiar things were presented to the agents in a completely new way. Leaving the plane on an inflatable ramp is fun only during training. In reality, everything happens as quickly as possible and in less comfortable conditions. To avoid injuries, you need to slide down with your arms outstretched.
The second part was devoted to practicing flight skills. The tour professionals coped with this task perfectly. It was possible to "fly" on an Airbus-320 and a Boeing 737NG. They took off from airports where S7 airlines are present. Naturally, in real time, adding turbulence, fog and other effects. The participants chose the airports of Sochi, Antalya, Bordeaux, Innsbruck, Batumi and a dozen more cities. After a short briefing, everyone had 5 minutes of their own flight history as a ship commander.
The third part of the program was devoted to business communication, in which the representative of S7 airline Tatyana Galasheva and the director of sales and promotion of the Iberostar network in Russia and the CIS Natalia Gureenkova took part.
