As reported by Salery.ru, in French stores the summer discount period begins on the last Wednesday of June and lasts up to six weeks. In most regions of France, sales start on June 26. However, in the Alpes-Maritimes and the Eastern Pyrenees, the summer discount period will last from July 3 to August 13, and in Corsica - from July 10 to August 20.
The overseas territories of France have their own schedule of summer sales: on the islands of Saint Pierre and Miquelon - from July 17 to August 28, in Guadeloupe - from September 28 to November 8, in French Guiana and Martinique - from October 3 to November 13, on the islands of Saint Martin and Saint Barthelemy - from October 12 to November 23.
June 21 – the start of summer sales in Madrid stores. In general, in Spain the discount period will last from July 1 to August 31, in Valencia – from June 27 to September 3, in Galicia and the Basque Country – from July 1 to September 30.
The official start date of summer sales in Italy is July 6. In the Lazio region (Rome) the sales will last until August 16, in Valle d'Aosta - until August 20, in Piedmont - until August 26, in Abruzzo - until August 29, and in the regions of Campania, Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy (Milan), Molise, Tuscany, Umbria and the island of Sardinia the period of summer discounts will last until August 30. In Veneto the sales will last until August 31, in Calabria and Marche - until September 1, in Apulia - until September 15, and in the region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia there will be the longest period of discounts - until September 30. In Liguria, the summer sales will run from July 1 to August 14, in Sicily from July 1 to September 15, and in the Basilicata region from July 2 to September 2.
