A new track has appeared at the Krasnaya Polyana Resort for the first time in the resort's history. The track is called "Backcountry", it opened for skiing in the mountain valley of Circus-3 and has a height difference of about 200 meters. The length of the prepared track is about a kilometer, it has a "red" difficulty level and is perfect for those who like to explore new slopes and interesting landscapes.
For skiing on the Backcountry track for skiers and snowboarders, the Krasnaya Polyana Resort has launched an exclusive service: lifting to the start of the track on a snowcat - a snow compactor machine. From 11:00 to 14:00 every day, riders will be able to go up for free, upon presentation of a purchased day or season ski pass, in order of a live queue. The ascent takes 4 minutes, the maximum number of riders in a snowcat is 7 people.
Thus, the current skiing area at the Krasnaya Polyana Resort is located from an altitude of 2,300 m to 1,460 m. Previously, skiers and snowboarders had access only to slopes at an altitude of more than 2,000 m above sea level in the mountain valleys of Circus-2 and Circus-3: unique climate zones that allowed the resort to be the first to open the ski season in Krasnaya Polyana and keep it open without restrictions for skiers. Also, a snow park with jumps, railings and other figures of varying difficulty levels operates daily in the mountain valley of Circus-2, at an altitude of 2,050 m.
You can purchase ski passes for skiing on the ski slopes of the Krasnaya Polyana Resort at the resort's ticket offices or on the official website in the online store, where discounts apply when purchasing.
