Tips for tourists

Dzhily-Su tract. Emir waterfall

The Dzhily-Su tract, which is located in Kabardino-Balkaria, is a land not only of numerous mineral springs, but also of beautiful waterfalls.

Emir is one of the most impressive waterfalls in these parts.

The road to the waterfall runs along the picturesque gorge of the Malka River, just below the Dzhily-Su tract.

When descending into the Malki gorge, beautiful views open up.

There is also another waterfall of the Malka tributary here.

According to my assumptions, this river is a tributary of Malka - Karakaya-Su, and the waterfall is called Tuzluk-Shapa. But I may be wrong. If anyone knows for sure, please write.

Not far from the waterfall there is a liver spring, which is considered the “heaviest” of all the springs in the area. It is recommended to drink it to cleanse the body and remove toxins. There are always a lot of people at the spring.

In addition to the main outlet of the source, there is also a secret one, known to few people.

On the other side of Malka there is a small cave. Although it may be larger - I haven't checked.

About halfway to the Emir waterfall there is a small bridge across the Malka. The path comes to a place where a view of the waterfall opens up. Many people prefer to contemplate the water element from this place.

There are trees and other plants growing in abundance near the waterfall, I even came across a stone rose.

In general, the Emir waterfall is called differently. My friends from Boksan called it Sultan. In other sources I came across the name Shah. This waterfall is not marked on maps in any way.

Whatever the name of the waterfall, it truly amazes the imagination, as if you find yourself in some mysterious place that reveals truths that are not accessible to everyone. Microparticles of water fill you from within, giving you strength and increasing your vitality.

I managed to visit Emir twice. The second time we wanted to spend more time at the waterfall and took some food for a picnic. But the "feast" was not destined to take place - the waterfall drove us away. As soon as we got our provisions, the weather suddenly deteriorated, clouds flew in, a downpour began, and then hail. It was dangerous to walk along the gorge in such weather, we hid under a mountain ledge, waited, and as soon as we got out of the gorge, the weather improved again.

You have to go to the waterfall for spiritual food, leaving everything worldly beyond it!

Who knows, maybe I'll be able to return to Emir for the third time)
