While average vacationers sometimes ask for a hotel room with a sea view or to have their steak cooked a certain way, wealthy tourists have their own quirks. Stay One Degree, a company specializing in luxury vacations, has named the 10 most extravagant wishes from wealthy clients. Business Insider writes about this.
Stay One Degree, a luxury travel portal, has compiled a list of the most bizarre requests from the rich.
The list opens with a request from one of the company's clients to install a huge aquarium in a vacation apartment and release sharks into it. Another whim was to equip a haunted house in the bedroom or nearby, which will help diversify the cultural program during the vacation. Some wealthy clients insist on the presence of a helipad in the property. The company noted that one of the main reasons why people look for a property with a helipad area is the impossibility of using the airport for ordinary mortals. In 2017, interest in such sites increased by 500%, representatives of Stay One Degree added.
Among the extravagant wishes of wealthy tourists are also: – the presence of a real portrait artist who can capture one of the episodes of the holiday on canvas at any time;
– a wine cellar with 30-year-old Bordeaux wine and 50-year-old whiskey;
– bulletproof glass in all main rooms of the residence;
– private coastline and 24-hour access to a private beach.
Rounding out the top 10 quirks of the rich are rustic garden houses for children with full amenities including electricity, running water, a cinema and a games room; a private zoo with live exotic animals, preferably a tiger; a large dressing room with its own stylist.
