Where Russians will go on holiday this autumn

TURIZM.RU analyzed tour sales for three autumn months in travel companies of the Travel Business Service group and found out the most popular holiday destinations for Russians in September, October and November.

In September, Türkiye continues to hold the lead in tour sales. Its share in total volume reaches 46%. The average bill for travel packages is about 101,000 rubles. In second and third place are Tunisia and Greece. Tourists travel to these countries for 77,500 and 106,000 rubles, respectively. The top ten most popular destinations of the month also include: Russia, Spain, Cyprus, Italy, Montenegro and the Dominican Republic.

Turkish resorts are in first place in sales in October as well. At the same time, the average bill has noticeably decreased — to 88,000 rubles. But Thailand has significantly increased in volumes and is actually “nipping” at Turkey’s heels. As a rule, our tourists choose tours to Phuket and Pattaya for no more than 95,000 rubles. Tunisia has dropped to third place. Cyprus, Spain, Greece, and the Dominican Republic remain in the top 10 destinations in October, but “newcomers” are also appearing: Vietnam, Cuba, and the UAE.

In November, the sales picture changes dramatically. Most Russians intend to visit Thailand this month. They paid an average of 104,000 rubles for tours. In second and third place are Vietnam and India. Tours there are sold at 98,000 and 95,000 rubles, respectively. The top ten popular destinations in November include the traditionally winter Dominican Republic, Cuba, UAE, Mexico, China and Jordan. Turkey dropped to 10th place.
