Developer of the Electronic Travel Package Files for Bankruptcy

The company JSC Asteros, which was involved in a number of key projects in Russian tourism, filed for bankruptcy. This was reported on the website of the Russian Agency for Legal and Judicial Information.

According to the publication, Asteros' statement has not yet been released. accepted for production. At the same time, several lawsuits from various organizations against Asteros are pending in arbitration courts. In particular, in March, KB Russian People's Bank filed lawsuits to recover 189.4 million rubles and 63.3 million rubles of debt from this company.

The Asteros company developed the concept of security for the territory of the Luzhniki sports complex, including the implementation of a "clean" zone within the security perimeter of the facility. In addition, the company is the main contractor for the Electronic Ticket project.

"Electronic Travel Voucher" as a unified information system was supposed to be introduced on January 1, 2018. Work on its creation began in December 2014 on the instructions of the government. In 2016, the developer announced the completion of the central stage of the project. However, "Electronic Travel Voucher" never started working within the agreed time frame. The cost of creating the "Electronic Travel Voucher" information system, according to Rostourism, was about 500 million rubles.
