Sweden's capital to be sucked into Dark Ages

A medieval fair with knights, musicians and jesters will take place in Stockholm this weekend. Festival guests will be able toala will offer dishes prepared according to recipes from past centuries. This is reported by the official website of the event.

The traditional medieval fair in the Swedish capital will be held on April 14-15 in the central city park "Kungsträdgården". Guests of the event will be able to visit craft workshops, where the owners will demonstrate their skills in making items from leather, fabric, bones and glass right on the spot. Locals and tourists will see how blacksmiths and gunsmiths used to work. The fair will sell jewelry that looks like it was made in the Viking Age.

The fair's organizers promise a variety of unusual medieval entertainment, including horseback riding, archery, fencing, and performances by folk musicians.

Visitors will also be able to try dishes recreated from historical recipes, medieval sweets, honey and the ever-popular roasted almonds.

The medieval fair in Stockholm will be open from 12:00 to 18:00 on April 14, and from 11:00 to 16:00 on April 15. You can get from Moscow to the capital of Sweden by direct flights. Ticket prices for the festival dates start from 15,144 rubles.
