Caribbean countries become visa-free for Russians

A visa-free regime between Russia and the Caribbean state of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines came into effect on January 7, Interfax reports.

The number of visa-free countries for Russians increased in 2019. During the New Year holidays, an agreement on mutual abolition of visas between Russia and the island state of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Our citizens will be able to stay in the country without a visa for up to 90 days within 180 days, counting from the date of first entry.

A similar entry procedure will be in effect between Russia and Dominica on January 14. Russians will also be able to stay in the Caribbean country for 90 days.

The independent state of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is located in the southern Caribbean Sea and consists of 33 islands. Recently, this destination has been developing as a center of elite tourism in the region. The most popular month to visit is April. At this time, there is practically no rain in the country.

The main attractions of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines are the churches of the capital city of Kingstown, as well as the Botanical Garden located here. Tourists come to the country for a beach holiday, as well as to get acquainted with the tropical forest.

The tiny state of Dominica is known among tourists for its waterfalls, rivers, exotic forests, mountains and the Diablotten volcano. One of its attractions is the Northern Forest National Park. It is best to plan a trip to Dominica from November to May. The rest of the year is the beginning of the tropical rain season.
