ANA Opens Ticket Sales on Tokyo-Moscow Line

Japanese airline ANA has opened ticket sales for flights from Tokyo to Moscow. Flights will open on July 1 and will operate daily, reports Travel.ru's own correspondent.

Departure from Tokyo (Haneda Airport) at 8.40, arrival in Moscow (Domodedovo Airport) at 13.10. Return departure at 15.05, arriving in Tokyo at 7.10. Terminal 2 will be used at Haneda Airport, from which ANA also serves all domestic and some other international flights. This will simplify transfers between domestic and international flights (the latter previously flew only from Terminal 3, previously called international).

The route will use a Boeing 767-300 aircraft with 202 seats. It has 35 business class seats (2-1-2 layout) and 167 economy class seats (2-3-2 layout). In the future, if the route is successfully launched, ANA may replace the aircraft type with a more modern and spacious Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

The lowest price found for a return ticket is €507.50. The price includes 2 pieces of checked baggage.

Let us recall that in 2020, a significant increase in the number of flights between Russia and Japan is expected. In particular, Aeroflot will open flights to another major city in the country – Osaka. In addition, JAL and ANA intend to open flights from Tokyo and to Vladivostok soon. The sharp increase in the frequency of flights on the Japanese route is due to a significant simplification of visa requirements for Russian citizens visiting Japan.
