Aeroflot and JAL have signed a codeshare agreement on joint flights between Russia and Japan. It will allow the companies to sell tickets for each other's flights in Japan and Russia, Travel.ru's own correspondent reports.

Aeroflot's SU code will be placed on JAL's Moscow-Tokyo flight, as well as on JAL flights from Tokyo's Haneda Airport to Osaka, Sapporo, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Okayama, Okinawa, Kagoshima and Kumamoto. The JAL code will appear on Aeroflot flights from Moscow to Tokyo (and subsequently to Osaka), as well as on domestic flights from Moscow to St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Rostov-on-Don, Sochi, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Ufa, Perm, Krasnodar and Kazan,

The agreement is valid for flights from March 29 (ticket sales will open in early March). In the future, it is expected that the number of jointly serviced routes will be expanded.
