Air Serbia intends to open flights from Belgrade to Rostov-on-Don in the summer. Flights will be operated four times a week from June 5, reports our own correspondent Travel.ru.
Departure from Belgrade on Tuesdays and Sundays at 23.10, on Wednesdays and Fridays at 23.40, arrival in Rostov at 3.00 and 3.30 respectively. Return departure on Mondays and Wednesdays at 3.45, on Thursdays and Saturdays at 4.15, arrival in Belgrade at 5.55 and 6.25. The route will be operated by Airbus A319 aircraft.
The lowest roundtrip fare found is €258.50 without baggage and €298.50 with baggage. A one-way ticket costs €138 without baggage and €158 with baggage. Slightly higher fares are available from Rostov and to many European destinations with a transfer in Belgrade. Adding baggage to a baggage-free fare costs €60 each way – in other words, you should decide whether you need to carry baggage before buying your ticket.
All passengers may carry hand luggage weighing up to 8 kilograms and no larger than 55x40x23 centimeters. In addition, you can take an additional item weighing no more than 4 kilograms, which may be a computer or ladies bag, a small backpack, purchases from Duty Free, a photo or video camera. It is worth keeping in mind that check-in at the airport may be paid if it is available online on the company's website. Selecting seats on the plane is paid.
Rostov will become the fourth Russian destination in Air Serbia's route network. The company currently flies from Belgrade to Moscow and Krasnodar all year round and to St. Petersburg in the summer season.
