International air tickets to become more expensive on Wednesday

The increase in airfares denominated in euros for international flights from Russia will take place on April 11. The euro exchange rate for international air tickets is set weekly on Wednesdays, with ruble prices calculated using the Central Bank of Russia's euro exchange rate for Tuesday, rounded up to 50 kopecks. The Central Bank's exchange rate for Tuesday, April 10, is set at 71.88 rubles per euro, and the rate of 72 rubles per euro will be used for air ticket sales in the coming week. The increase will be one ruble (last week, the rate was 71 rubles per euro), reports Travel.ru's own correspondent.

Thus, passengers who have decided on their plans for flights from Russia abroad should buy tickets before midnight from Tuesday to Wednesday. A number of airlines also apply this rate to some fees on domestic flights - these tickets will also become slightly more expensive, but the increase will be several times smaller. On April 11, most air tickets abroad, as well as some fees of a number of airlines on domestic flights, will increase in price by approximately 1.5%.
