HORECA by Kazan 2017: how it was

On October 25-27, Kazan became the center of attraction for restaurant and hotel business gurus. Such events promote Russian and local manufacturers, suppliers of technological, food and other products for restaurants and hotels.

The exhibition was held on the territory of the FUN24 entertainment center (Kazan, M. Gafuri St., 46), which was completely closed for the event. The total area of the involved complex is 10,400 sq.m., the total area of the exhibition development is 1,353 sq.m.

HORECA by Kazan united more than 50 suppliers, manufacturers and owners of the HoReCa segment on one site: Scotland, England, Japan, Italy, Armenia, North Ossetia, Moscow and the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, Chelyabinsk, Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Almetyevsk and other regions.

Separate positioning was allocated to local farms, which presented their dairy and meat products to the audience, as well as cheeses of their own local production.

The educational program of the exhibition this year was divided into separate zones: the "Restaurateur" hall, "Hotelier", "Chef", "Bar", "Marketing", "Cavist and Sommelier", "Pizza", "Case Center", VIP lecture halls.  — Republican Championship Speed-mixology "Speed V 2017" on October 26. The winner received a worthy prize — an internship in one of the bars of HURMA Management Group.

October 25 — “Catering in Russia. Current state of the industry, new challenges and development paths.” The moderator was Kirill Pogodin, Vice President of the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers for catering issues.

October 26 — "New School. Revolution in Children's Nutrition!" with the participation of Konstantin Krivoshonok, Chief Sanitary Doctor of the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers, Commercial Director of the "New School" project. Following the session, a tour of the procurement workshop of the Kazan City Nutrition Department, as well as schools where renovation activities were carried out, was organized for Konstantin.

October 26 — "Development of domestic gastronomic tourism through festivals and food markets. Development of urban spaces — new opportunities for the restaurant business" with the participation of Alexander Sysoev (Marketing Director of the Afisha-Restaurants project), Natalia Fishman (Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan), Alsu Karyakina (Director of the Municipal Budgetary Institution "Directorate of Parks and Squares of Kazan").

At the round table, Alexander Sysoev and Natalia Fishman came up with the idea of holding a festival of Tatar cuisine in the country's largest cities - the best chefs of Russia will create their dishes based on centuries-old traditional recipes.

October 27 — “Social Responsibility of Business” with the participation of Alexey Volov, the organizer of the first forum in Russia for independent hotels Hotel Business Forum with industry representatives and hoteliers of the republic.
