The Arbitration Court upheld the complaint of the former head of the tour operator Yuzhny Krest Travel, Dmitry Fesik, and overturned the decision to hold him liable for the company's debts and to collect 1.75 billion rubles from him.
As RAPSI reports, the applicant appealed the ruling of the Moscow Arbitration Court of October 5, 2018. At that time, the court came to the conclusion that Dmitry Fesik, in violation of the requirements of the Federal Law "On Insolvency (Bankruptcy)", did not provide the bankruptcy trustee of Yuzhny Krest Travel LLC with documentation on the debtor's accounting and (or) reporting on the date of its recognition as bankrupt.
Let us recall that on June 7, 2015, the court declared the tour operator "Yuzhny Krest Travel" bankrupt. At the hearing, it was revealed that the third priority of the tour operator's register of creditors included 38 claims for a total of 607.3 million rubles, 306 million of which is a debt to the airline "Utair".
Earlier, on September 10, 2014, the tour operator announced the suspension of its activities. At that time, about 6 thousand tourists were on vacation, most of them did not have return tickets.
