Siberia will fly from Moscow to Makhachkala

Siberia Airlines (S7 Airlines) intends to resume flights from Moscow to Makhachkala on July 11. The carrier left Makhachkala in 2008, when it stopped using Tu-154 aircraft, recalls our own correspondent Travel.ru.

Departure from Moscow (Domodedovo airport) daily at 13.45, arrival in Makhachkala at 16.20. Return departure at 17.20, arrival in Moscow at 20.00. The line is served by Airbus A320.

Minimum one-way fares for July are now 3,626 rubles without checked baggage and seat selection, and 4,516 rubles with baggage and seat selection. Round-trip fares start at 6,307 and 8,267 rubles, respectively. Fares for August and autumn flights are still noticeably higher.

Passengers and tourists planning to travel anywhere in the coming months should weigh the necessity and the possibility of traveling many times. For most airlines, there is still a fairly high risk of any flights being cancelled at the last minute due to low occupancy or decisions by some authorities. In addition, in some regions of Russia, quarantines are still in effect for tourists entering there, turning travel into fiction. Before any trip, you should double-check the rules in force at your destination - they can change at any time without any prior notice. In addition to quarantines, the rules in various regions may now include requirements for wearing masks, having local passes, negative coronavirus tests, etc. Finally, the risk of contracting the virus increases significantly during the trip.
