Siberia Airlines (S7 Airlines) expects to begin flights from Vladivostok to the South Korean city of Busan (Busan) in late spring. The flight is scheduled to operate twice a week from May 2, reports Travel.ru's own correspondent.
Departure from Vladivostok on Tuesdays at 21:00, on Saturdays at 18:20, arrival in Busan at 22:00.05 and 19.25 respectively. Return departures on Tuesdays at 22.35, on Saturdays at 20.25, arrival in Vladivostok at 2.20 and 23.40 respectively. The Airbus A320 neo aircraft will be used on the route.
The lowest one-way fares found are currently 9,642 rubles without baggage and seat selection, and 12,252 rubles with baggage and seat selection. Round-trip fares start at 16,705 and 21,925 rubles, respectively.
It should be noted that at least from March 1 to March 31, due to restrictions and prohibitions imposed by the Russian authorities in connection with the outbreak of coronavirus infection in South Korea, Siberia cannot fly to this country normally (instead of the usual regular flights, only charter flights will be carried out to evacuate citizens already abroad). If this outbreak is not localized in the coming weeks, the introduction of a new flight to Busan may be postponed.
This situation may also affect the increase in the number of flights from Vladivostok to Seoul planned by Siberia Airlines. In the summer schedule, the company plans to make the second flight on this route daily (until now it was operated three times a week). Now the implementation of these plans may be somewhat delayed until the situation normalizes. In the summer schedule, departures from Vladivostok are expected at 13.35 (or 14.00) and 20.20, from Seoul at 15.55 (or 16.05) and 22.40 (or 23.15), on an Airbus A320 neo.
