Tariffs of the day: Rostov - Tyumen at "Azimut" - 888 rubles, Krasnodar - Yerevan - 1215 rubles

Azimuth Airlines has opened ticket sales on routes from Rostov-on-Don to Tyumen and from Krasnodar to Yerevan. Flights to Tyumen will be operated from November 3 twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Tickets for some November dates are available for 888 rubles, reports our own correspondent Travel.ru.

This is the price for a baggage-free, non-refundable promotional fare, which is valid for a limited time and only for flights in early and mid-November. For other dates, prices start at 1,680 rubles. Fares with baggage start at 3,680 rubles, refundable tickets - from 5,080 rubles.

Departure from Rostov at 0.05, arrival in Tyumen at 5.10. Return departure at 6.10, arrival in Rostov at 7.10.

Flights on the Krasnodar-Yerevan route will begin on October 6 and are scheduled three times a week in October (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) and twice from November (Thursday, Saturday). Departures from Krasnodar on Thursdays and Saturdays at 17.40, arrival in Yerevan at 20.10. Return departure at 21.30, arrival in Krasnodar at 22.05. This is the winter schedule (from November), in October it is shifted forward by an hour.

The minimum price one way from Krasnodar is now 1215 rubles with a non-checked baggage tariff. Tariffs with baggage start from 4050 rubles, checked - from 5670 rubles. In the opposite direction, prices are much higher due to high fees at Yerevan airport: no baggage tariff - 4042 rubles, baggage 7282, checked - 8902 rubles.

Adding luggage to the baggage-free fare costs 2,000 rubles each way. However, all passengers can carry 10 kilograms of hand luggage, plus a briefcase or handbag and a number of other personal items.

Meals on Azimuth flights are paid. Passengers will only be offered sparkling and still water for free (there will probably also be a snack on the flight to Bishkek). Online check-in is only available for those willing to pay 200 rubles or more for seat selection.

When purchasing on the website of the airline, Azimuth now includes paid meals (a sandwich for 250 rubles) and paid insurance (also 250 rubles) in the ticket by default. This practice of selling services not requested by the client, which is prohibited in the European Union and a number of other countries, is still widespread in Russia. To refuse unnecessary services, you should click on the “In order” buttons on the additional services selection page.

In September, Azimuth also opened the Rostov-Volgograd route and flights from Rostov and Krasnodar to Nizhnekamsk. In addition, from October, the company plans to fly from Moscow to Pskov, from Krasnodar to Kazan, from Sochi to Kaluga, from Rostov and Stavropol to Yerevan and from Rostov to Bishkek. Flights on the Moscow-Elista route will be doubled - from 2 to 4 times a week. At the same time, Azimuth will close several routes in late September - early October: from Elista to Sochi and Rostov, from Krasnodar and Mineralnye Vody to Kaluga, as well as from Moscow to Grozny.

Let us recall that soon passengers of all Russian airlines may lose the guarantees of free transportation of briefcases, handbags, backpacks, outerwear, as well as baby food, medicine, canes, crutches and other items necessary for medical reasons. This is the draft order of the Ministry of Transport, prepared after the appeal to the ministry by the airline Pobeda, which demanded that passengers be deprived of all these guarantees. If the draft is approved, carriers will be able to limit passengers to only 5 kilograms of hand luggage, and the permissible dimensions of such luggage will be determined by the airlines themselves (Pobeda itself already uses a tiny “calibrator” measuring 36x30x27 centimeters for this, in which it is impossible to place many ordinary small city bags, as well as some mobile electronics - for example, some laptops). At the same time, Azimuth stated that in any case, it does not intend to reduce the norms for its passengers.
