Spring Break: Russians' Plans

According to Tutu.ru, the most popular destinations for spring break travel (March 26 - April 1) with children were Sochi with flights from Moscow. The cost of a flight on this route is on average 7.5 thousand rubles (minus 2.7% compared to spring holidays of 2017). In second place was Crimea with flights from Moscow (8.6 thousand rubles, plus 1.8%). Third place was again taken by Sochi with flights from St. Petersburg (12.8 thousand rubles, minus 12.5%).

Mineralnye Vody and Kaliningrad are also among the popular holiday destinations. Residents of the regions prefer trips to Moscow and St. Petersburg. Flights to the capitals from Surgut, Rostov-on-Don and Krasnoyarsk were among the top ten.

The most popular foreign destinations for this holiday were Tbilisi (11th place in the ranking), Yerevan (13th place) and Paris (19th place). Interestingly, last year, several foreign cities were among the top ten most popular destinations for spring break. Including Munich, Tbilisi and Prague.
