Aeroflot Airlines intends to put a wide-body Airbus A330 on the Moscow-Dubai route. It will make one of three daily flights planned for the winter, Travel.ru's own correspondent reports.
The Airbus A330-300 will be the most popular flight from October 28 to March 30, departing from Moscow at 8:50 and from Dubai at 16:35. Passengers on this flight will get more comfortable seats, individual entertainment system screens, and business class customers will get horizontally reclining seats. Thus, on this flight Aeroflot will be able to compete with Emirates and flydubai, which offer similar conditions on this route. The minimum price for a round-trip ticket on Aeroflot is currently 20,597 rubles.
From October 28, departures from Moscow (Sheremetyevo Airport) will be at 8:50, 11:35 and 18:45, arriving in Dubai at 15:10, 18:00 and 1:25 respectively. Return departures will be at 2:35, 16:35 and 19:30, arriving in Moscow at 7:15, 21:20 and 0:10. The two remaining flights will use Boeing 737 aircraft.
Aeroflot has also increased the frequency of summer flights on this route. Previously, from April to October, it had only one flight to Dubai, but since this year, there are already two (both on Boeing 737, in the morning and evening from Moscow, at night and during the day from Dubai). For the summer of next year (from March 31), there are also two flights on Boeing 737.
Let us recall that Russian citizens no longer need to obtain a visa in advance to enter the UAE. The abolition of advance registration has led to a sharp increase in demand for flights to this country. In particular, yesterday Emirates announced the introduction of a third of its own daily flights Dubai - Moscow. Earlier, flydubai doubled the frequency of flights to Moscow, and for the winter it plans to swap the schedules of Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo flights so that the latter does not coincide in time with Aeroflot flights.
