AZUR air to launch charter flights to Maldives for the first time

During the New Year holidays, AZUR air will operate three charter flights from Moscow to the Maldives for the first time. This was reported to the TRN portal by press service carrier.

Flights will be operated on Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, travel time from Vnukovo International Airport to Male International Airport, the main air hub of the archipelago, will be about eight hours. ANEX Tour acts as a consolidator of flights, in addition, TUI Russia has blocks of seats.

Let us recall that earlier it became known that AZUR air in the autumn-winter schedule 2019/2020 is expanding its route network, including from the regions of Russia, and increasing the intensity of flights to traditional destinations.

Thus, from the end of October, flights will begin from Arkhangelsk, Belgorod, Kaliningrad, Syktyvkar to Al Maktoum Airport (Dubai), flights are planned from Kemerovo, Blagoveshchensk, Vladivostok to Phu Quoc Island (Vietnam), and from Chelyabinsk to Phuket Island (Thailand). In addition to the previously introduced flight program to Colombo (Sri Lanka) from Moscow and Yekaterinburg, flights in this direction are also planned from St. Petersburg in the new season.

The airline is increasing the frequency of flights on some popular and in-demand traditional routes - for example, the number of flights from Moscow to Cam Ranh (Vietnam) will increase by 13%, and the route will be served by Boeing 777-300ER aircraft instead of Boeing 767-300 last year. The number of flights from Moscow to Varadero (Cuba) will increase by more than 80%.
