Flydubai will increase the frequency of flights from Kurumoch International Airport (part of the Airports of Regions holding) to Dubai to 4 direct regular flights per week. The winter schedule of the Samara airport, which will come into effect on October 29, 2017, includes Departures on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
"Flydubai will resume direct regular flights from Samara on September 27. The frequency of flights is 2 flights per week, on Wednesdays and Sundays, at the end of October the number of flights will be doubled. Passengers will be transported on Boeing 737-800 aircraft, departure from Samara at 15.05 local time," the airport press service noted.
It is worth noting that, based on the results of the first half of 2017, passenger traffic on the Samara-Dubai route increased 2.5 times, to 17 thousand passengers. One of the main reasons was the decision to simplify the visa regime between the UAE and Russia. Let us recall that, since February 1, 2017, Russian citizens planning tourist trips to the UAE are not required to obtain electronic visas in advance. They are issued upon arrival in the country, and free of charge.
