For this, data on the most frequent searches for the New Year period, which were carried out by users on the platform www.hometogo.ru, were used. Russian destinations top the list, while Finland and Estonia were the most popular foreign destinations.
Celebrating the New Year while traveling is becoming increasingly popular among Russians, and they give the greatest preference to Russian cities.
According to HomeToGo, for New Year 2018, Russians are looking for holiday accommodation in the Krasnodar Region (Sochi and Krasnaya Polyana), the Moscow Region and Moscow.
