The Russian Foreign Ministry has warned that some countries will restrict air traffic with China due to the threat of the spread of coronavirus.
"Indonesia, China - Indonesian authorities announced a two-week suspension from February 3 air traffic with China due to the threat of the spread of the 2019-nCoV coronavirus,” the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Situation and Crisis Center (DSCC) reported on Twitter.
The agency also noted that Saudi Arabian Airlines has temporarily suspended flights to China.
"Saudi Arabia, China - Saudi Arabian Airlines has temporarily suspended flights to China due to the threat of the spread of coronavirus 2019-nCoV," the statement said.
In addition, the New Zealand government announced a temporary ban on Chinese citizens entering the country.
“New Zealand, China - The New Zealand government has announced a temporary (at least until February 16) suspension of entry into the country for foreigners arriving from China as part of measures to prevent the spread of the 2019-nCoV coronavirus,” the Foreign Ministry’s crisis center notes.
