Rome police arrested two families of tourists for a fight in front of the Trevi Fountain - the guests of the Italian capital did not share the place for taking photos.
As reported by “Italy in Russian,” a quarrel that arose between a 19-year-old tourist from Holland and a 44-year-old American woman escalated into a brawl, which was joined by members of their families. Both tourists were looking for the perfect angle for a selfie against the backdrop of a fountain. Only the police managed to separate the fighters.
Eight people were detained, including three minors.
Trevi is the most visited fountain by tourists in the Italian capital. It is the largest not only in Rome, but in all of Italy – the width of the fountain is 20 meters, and the height in the center is 26 meters.
