Jerusalem to Host Festival of Lights

From June 27 to July 5, Jerusalem will shine with multi-colored lights – the city will host the tenth Festival of Lights. During these days, residents and guests of the capital of Israel will be able to enjoy the beauty of the Old City, the appearance of which will be transformed by the amazing play of light.

The festival features various routes that take visitors from one unique light installation to another. According to the Israeli Ministry of Tourism, detailed information about the art objects presented at each section of the route is available on the festival website, allowing visitors to choose their route in advance.

This year, the festival will feature dozens of art objects, including the “Forest of Light,” created from 1,900 glowing branches, and an interactive 10-meter graffiti wall made of water and light. The light installations were created by artists from Israel, Australia, China, Germany, the Philippines, Finland, Morocco, France, Belgium, the UK, and Poland. All events at the Festival of Light are free.
