Hotline for Chinese tourists to open in Moscow

Visitors to the capital can learn how to use public transport, check the opening hours of city museums and theaters, and decide where to go during the New Year holidays.

 

 

Since mid-December, by contacting the tourist contact center, guests of the capital can get advice from operators in Chinese. You can call the hotline at the short number 122 or by city number: +7 (495) 122-01-11.

"Contact center operators communicate with tourists in Russian, English, and now in Chinese. By calling the hotline, city guests can find out what to see during the New Year holidays, how public transport, theaters and museums work," she said. Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow. Every month the tourist hotline receives more than three thousand requests. Contact center specialists are ready to answer almost any question. Hotline operators accept calls in Chinese from 08:00 to 24:00 on weekdays and from 10:00 to 22:00 on weekends, in Russian and English - around the clock.

As specified by the capital's Committee on Tourism, call center operators can provide contact information for embassies, consulates and visa centers, train schedules or routes from one point to another, addresses of museums, stadiums and parks. Call center employees will also come to the rescue in an emergency.
