Not every tourist can afford to go on a long trip, but for many a weekend outside the city can be a great alternative. For example, leave cloudy Moscow and in just a few hours find yourself on the sunny banks of the Volga.
Park-hotel "Bukhta "Koprino" invariably pleases its guests with hospitality, fresh air, and the surrounding infrastructure provides a variety of recreation.
"The story began in 2006, and now many perceive our project as a tourist one. In fact, our task is broader - it is a comprehensive development of an area of 100 square kilometers. The Volga is the largest river in Europe with practically undeveloped banks. And one of the few parts of the right bank of the Volga that faces south, where pine trees grow, where the sun shines from morning to evening, is precisely our Yaroslavl seaside, a unique place. Our mission was to correctly and carefully develop this land," he told journalists. Dmitry Rodionov, General Director of the Yaroslavskoe Vzmorie resort.
Accommodation options:
Currently, the territory of the park-hotel "Bukhta Koprino" is 50 hectares, and together with the natural park "Zapovedny Les" - 180 hectares. In 2019, 28 thousand tourists have already visited here. Moscow is a significant part of the guests, but not the overwhelming majority. 50 percent are not Muscovites, but residents of Yaroslavl and the region, Rybinsk and other nearby cities.
Guests can choose from 42 cottages, 16 hotel rooms and 5 cabins on the landing stage. The cottages are very popular: it is nice to sit in the evening with friends by the fireplace. From 6 to 8 people can stay here, on weekdays the price is 18 thousand, on weekends - 20 thousand, during the busy season (from June 14 to September 1) the price increases by about 2-3 thousand. There are also villas on the territory of the park hotel. These are huge cottages designed for 10 people, priced at about 30 thousand rubles per day.
Tourists visiting the park-hotel "Bukhta "Koprino"" like to stay on the landing stage of the restaurant complex "Kovcheg", there are five cozy cabins - from the largest with panoramic windows to more intimate ones. There is also a two-story restaurant here, where celebrations, banquets and weddings are often held: the luxurious interior is conducive to holding a solemn event.
Soon, the park hotel will launch a new room stock — small one-story cottage units, each separate part of the cottage is designed for 2 people. Three cottages are already ready, and it is planned to build about 20. By the way, they also think about guests with disabilities: one of the cottages is specially equipped for a guest with disabilities, and an accompanying person can live in the neighboring part. A room in such a cottage unit will cost 9 thousand rubles. There is also a room for guests with disabilities in the hotel with a capacity of 16 rooms.
The price of any stay includes breakfast and the opportunity to use the Wellness center (swimming pool, saunas and gym). And now, in the off-season, the park hotel "Bukhta Koprino" has an "all inclusive" offer. This increases the price of accommodation by only 10 percent, and there are already many people who want to relax here in this option. The offer attracts Russian tourists: the ability to calculate their expenses in advance, not worry about spending during the holiday, and just the habit of choosing "all inclusive".
Infrastructure: convenience and comfort for every guest
The Wellness Center has a full 25-meter pool with access to the open water area: you can swim outside and admire the Volga landscapes even in winter! The thermal area has Roman, Turkish, Finnish and Russian baths. There is also a well-equipped gym, herbal bar, beauty zone, massage.
The Kalita Business Center has 4 conference halls and a restaurant. And the third restaurant on the territory of the park hotel is the Shturman tavern, it is located next to the beach area, it works in the summer from morning until evening and specializes in grilled dishes, it is very popular among vacationers.
Another unique offer of the park-hotel "Bukhta Koprino" is a real Russian bathhouse for all lovers of the steam room. It can accommodate a company of up to 20 people - you can steam for 7 thousand rubles. The bathhouse building itself is amazing: it is a log house made of huge cedar logs. The bathhouse's special feature is the huge boilers outside, those who wish can "cook" right in these vats! In winter, this will be especially pleasant! In summer, you can run straight from the bathhouse into the Volga along a special platform. The services of an experienced steam master are also offered here.
On the territory of the park hotel, a children's club "Smile" was created especially for young guests - free for guests staying at the resort. Children love to be creative here, and they take all their crafts home as a souvenir. But even here on the shelves there are a lot of children's works left as a gift to the club. You won't be bored here! And for little lovers of active games there is a labyrinth where you can climb to your heart's content, and for little ones - a playroom with a dry pool with balls and various toys.
In summer, guests are delighted by the beach: 400 meters of sandy shore, equipped with sun loungers, a lifeguard is always on duty here. The second large beach is located next to the pier. The water here is constantly monitored, its cleanliness is guaranteed.
Park-hotel "Bukhta "Koprino" is the first point of presence of the cluster "Yaroslavskoe Vzmorie" on this land. Now they are actively developing and improving the neighboring forest territory. "We have unique nature, people come here not just for comfort, but also for magnificent landscapes, fresh air. Here is the purest water of the Volga, and protected forest places," - the employees of the park-hotel proudly note.
"Our park "Zapovedny Les" is slowly gaining its fans, but they become its most loyal guests," notes Dmitry Rodionov. "You can see such a forest, perhaps, only in cartoons, not even in films. And now you can admire such protected places here."
In the year-round rental, both in winter and in summer, you can find activities for yourself. In summer, these are bicycles or ATVs, and soon they will start giving out skates and skis. The ski track in the local protected forest is wonderful: it is laid by a special machine, and you will get unforgettable impressions from such a sports winter walk. There is a sports stadium on the territory: in summer, you can play football and tennis here. By the way, the creation of the stadium also happened on the initiative of the park-hotel management. “I accidentally found out that the team of the Rybinsk municipal district took second place in the Russian Cup. I found them, and they are ordinary guys, machine operators. And they play football at such a level! We decided to support them and built a beach stadium,” says Dmitry Rodionov.
The Yaroslavskoe Vzmorye project has its own yacht club. "Our club has a number of serious advantages. There is a floating gas station, legal and well-equipped - there are only three such gas stations on the Volga, also in Zavidovo and St. Petersburg," notes Dmitry Rodionov. Up to 100 boats and yachts can moor here at the same time. By the way, the yachts of the first leaders of the state refuel here several times a year.
Nearby, on the bank of the small river Trenovka, there is a cottage village "Koprino". This is a convenient place to live for those who want to have a house in a quiet, picturesque place, and at the same time have their own pier for their yacht. From here, if desired, you can sail to the north, to Helsinki, to Europe, if you move along the Volga to the south. "The territory begins to live when people appear. But they need to be lured with something. Residents of the village are given privileges that are convenient for them to use: they can use our pool, order food from our restaurant, and so on," notes Dmitry Rodionov. "Sales started slowly, but today out of 300 households on 80 hectares, we have already sold 70 plots, and sales are going faster."
Another pride of the Yaroslavl Seaside project is the Koprino pier. “This is a difficult story for a private investor, but with the support of the state we were able to implement it,” notes Dmitry Rodionov. “And we do not receive income from the pier, but we receive new tourists. We deliberately developed this point, since the motor ships sailing along the Volga stop in many Volga cities, but there tourists are taken on excursions and to the museum every time. But there was no opportunity to just relax, sunbathe, swim in the Volga, the green moorings disappeared. And now it is on the Volga! And we are proud of it.” Every year, the number of cruise ships stopping here increases. Now the pier receives up to 100 motor ships per season. The pier can receive up to 4 motor ships at a time.
"It is important for us that we do something that attracts other investors to us. This summer we got a golf course and a shooting club," says Dmitry Rodionov. "Soon, airplanes will start flying to us: an investor built an airfield nearby, a grass strip for small aircraft is already ready, and soon they will start building a concrete strip."
Museum space: opportunities to have fun and gain new knowledge
True, a tourist who has already become accustomed to museum leisure during a river cruise does not deviate from his habits here either.
"We discovered that the passengers of the ships, although they are happy about the 'green berth', still ask about museums every time," says Dmitry Rodionov. "That is why the appearance of the Tygydym ethnomuseum near the pier was a happy coincidence."
The Tygydym Ethnic Village Museum has been developing since 2011. Once upon a time, Alexander and Olesya Mazaletsky-Degtyarev, the authors and owners of the museum, built it in the Poshekhonsky District of the Yaroslavl Region. But the project almost closed due to local land disputes. It was saved by Sergey Bachin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Agranta Group of Companies, who supported the museum and offered Tygydym land on the Yaroslavl coast - next to the Koprino Bay Park Hotel. This is how a real Russian village with analogues of old houses, barns and other buildings appeared here. And the authors of Tygydym meticulously collect legends, stories, customs, communicating with residents of the region's villages. The symbol of the museum is the Tygydym horse, the stallion Pasha. In addition to him, there are plenty of other animals here: his friend the mare Malinka, goats, geese, dogs and cats.
Each time, the Tygydym museum-village surprises its guests with more and more new objects, excursions and master classes. For example, this time the journalists visited the unusual Museum of the outhouse, the hayloft, and the souvenir shop. By the way, the horseshoe horse - the amulet "Soul of the village of Tygydym" was recognized as the best museum souvenir of the country in 2014. And then they met the masters-experts of ancient crafts and traditions, who have already begun to appear in Tygydym. "We found unique people-craftsmen, these are the employees of our Museum of Lost Crafts," said Olesya Mazaletskaya-Degtyareva, the owner of Tygydym. For example, Maria demonstrated the skill of working on an old loom.
"I dreamed of learning this craft since childhood, and then I found a craftswoman and adopted these traditions from her," says Maria. Sergey showed journalists an old mixer-whisk for whipping dough - oddly enough, it is a piece of an ordinary trunk of a young fir tree with cut branches. Well, and herbalist-phytologist Lyubov Evgenyevna told about the magical power of various herbs and treated them to tea from a herbal collection. Soon in Tygydym, children and adults will be able to try knitting rugs, dyeing fabrics, brewing aromatic teas and mastering many other ancient skills!
At the end of the tour, the journalists were treated to schanitsa (cabbage soup cooked according to an old recipe from green cabbage leaves), served with bread baked in Tygydym and Thursday black salt, which, by the way, can be bought here as a souvenir. "Cabbage soup and porridge are our food," it has long been said: this is the most satisfying, fatty food, and after such a dinner, each member of the family remained full for a long time.
Next to Tygydym is the Rybinsk Sea Museum, the project's great pride. "I found out by chance that the Rybinsk Sea Museum in Rybinsk was being evicted. And we invited the museum here, to us," Dmitry Rodionov told journalists. "It so happened that the place where the museum could work turned out to be significant: this is an old building, a former maternity hospital, it was moved here from the neighboring village of Pogorelka, and the house came there in the 1930s from the Mologsky District, and was saved from flooding." Now tourists are told about the appearance of the Rybinsk Reservoir, the flooding of Mologa and other cities and villages, and the history of the village of Koprino.
This year a forge has appeared here, which is of great interest to guests of the Yaroslavl seaside.
And next to the park-hotel "Bukhta "Koprino", in the dacha club "Koprino", you can visit a real zoo. Camels, ostriches, yaks, anguses live here - it will be interesting to communicate with the animals and feed them with food specially prepared for this. And on the territory of "Yaroslavskoe Vzmorie" they have given shelter to mini-anguses, a territory has been specially equipped for them. These are small bulls. They were bred in the agroholding "AgriVolga", but when the bulls grew up, it turned out that it was simply impossible to use such defenseless, affectionate animals in meat production. Mini-anguses have found shelter on the Yaroslavskoe Vzmorie, and now they delight local tourists with their friendly disposition.
Short vacation or summer holidays
The park-hotel "Bukhta Koprino" is best suited for this type of vacation. It is convenient to stay here for 3-5 days. However, regular customers book cottages for a long time: for example, in the summer, bringing here a family with children, grandparents. Considering the pricing policy, this is not a cheap vacation, but the resort management is not trying to lower the bar yet. It is more important to retain a regular customer: calm, respectable. Perhaps in the future, during the development of a more distant territory, they will build accommodation options there that are more accessible to young people.
Getting to the Yaroslavskoye Vzmorye resort has become easier: repairs have been completed on the problematic section of the road from Rybinsk to Glebovo, and the famous cobblestone road in the village of Kabotovo, through which the road to the resort goes, has also been improved.
The park hotel is designed for 300 people. Usually all accommodation is sold out by New Year, and if you want to celebrate the holiday here, in the realm of real winter, sparkling white snow, you need to hurry.
