Charter airline AZUR air and tour operator TUI Russia have announced the start of cooperation. The joint flight program will begin with spring-summer navigation, and the first flights will start in mid-April.
As the press service of the carrier reported to the TRN portal, TUI Russia clients will have access to direct AZUR air flights to six international destinations: Antalya, Dalaman, Bodrum (Turkey), Palma de Mallorca (Spain), Larnaca (Cyprus) and Enfidha (Tunisia).
Flights to Antalya are planned from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhnekamsk, Perm, Samara and Ufa, to Dalaman - from St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Samara and Ufa, to Bodrum only from the Russian capital. The flight program to Cyprus will be carried out from Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Krasnodar, to Palma de Mallorca - only from Moscow, and to Enfidha - exclusively from St. Petersburg. Thus, AZUR air and TUI Russia expand travel opportunities for residents of 11 Russian regions.
"In the summer of 2019, we want to make a new leap, increase the number of clients to 1,300,000 people, expand the geography of flights, making travel available not only from Moscow, but also from the regions. In each region from where our flight programs are carried out, a central operator office has been opened, several of our own points of sale and agencies operate under the TUI brand," said TUI Russia General Director Taras Demura.
The airline uses its entire fleet of narrow- and wide-body aircraft of five different modifications on the listed routes: Boeing 737–800/900ER,
757-200, 767-300 and 777-300ER.
"We are pleased to begin cooperation with another major tour operator in Russia. This speaks of trust in us as an air carrier in terms of safety and quality of services provided. The expansion of the range of the airline's partners became possible due to the implementation of the program of active increase in the fleet of aircraft - this year we are planning 30% growth. I would like to note that the fleet management policy is aimed not only at the dynamic growth of available carrying capacity, but also at the gradual rejuvenation of the entire fleet," comments Yuriy Fedorovich Stogniy, General Director of AZUR air.
